The president of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), Rodrigo Buenaventura, already has a destination when his term ends on December 16. It was then that he joined the Council of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) as its new Secretary General.
This was communicated by the CNMV, which indicates that until then “Buenaventura will continue to exercise all the functions entrusted to him in complete normality”. In this way, he explains, “the normal functioning and decision-making” of the organization is ensured.
