A few days ago, an attempt was made on the life of the former mayor of Energodar, Andrei Shevchik. This was announced today, September 6, by the head of Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev.
“I would like to stress once again that the situation is not getting any easier; the number of threats is increasing. There are terrorist actions against civilians. Just a few days ago, there was an attempt on the life of the former mayor of Energodar, our colleague, now an employee of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, Shevchik.” – he said after a meeting with the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi.
According to Likhachev, the former mayor was seriously injured in the assassination attempt, as was his wife.
“This shows that kyiv is not calming down. They continue to attack infrastructure, nuclear power plants, personnel, and continue to issue threats.” – said the head of Rosatom.
