Russia’s school education system is on the verge of a serious reform: the country hosted a Russia-wide debate on changes to school exams.
According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, teachers, deputies, rectors and Rosobrnadzor experts took part in the debate. For five days they discussed changes to the Main State Exam (SSE) and the Unified State Exam (USE).
Commenting on the results of this forum, the head of Rosobrnadzor Anzor Muzaev He stressed that this public debate is necessary “not to show off”, but to “take a new step forward”.
The head of the department stressed that “all the substantial changes” will not affect the 2025 exams, but Rosobrnadzor will continue “in constant dialogue with teachers, parents and regional authorities” and will discuss possible reforms of the examination system.
