The president of the Xunta de Galicia, the “popular” Alphonse Ruedaasked the head of the Executive, Pedro Sanchezduring the meeting they held this Friday “Nipping in the bud” the possibility of singular financing agreementssuch as the economic agreement for Catalonia, while confirming that it has not received any specific offer such as that debt forgiveness to try to calm the criticism of this Catalan quota.
This is how the Galician president expressed himself during a press conference at the Moncloa Palace after the bilateral meeting he held this Friday with Sánchez, within the framework of the series of meetings with regional presidentsinsisting on multilateral negotiation of regional financing.
In this way, Rueda did not deviate one iota from the agreement reached on September 6 by all the regional presidents of the PP, in a meeting with its leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo, to “renounce falling into a bilaterality “cheating” with regard to the regional financing system. In this manifesto, the popular barons demanded that this be done in a “multilateral” manner. Conference of Presidents because “what belongs to each must be discussed between all.”

When asked if he had spoken with Sánchez about the debt forgiveness, Rueda confirmed that he did not receive any specific offer at that meeting, adding that the head of the Executive informed him that debt reduction was another formula in the general financing system.
