Russia and Ukraine exchanged prisoners in the “95-95” format.
Oku.Az “Kommersant” reports with reference to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“On October 18, as a result of the negotiation process, 95 Russian servicemen were returned from the territories under kyiv control and, in exchange, 95 prisoners of war were handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the report says.
Currently, Russian servicemen are on the territory of Belarus and receive the necessary medical and psychological assistance, as well as the opportunity to communicate with their families.
According to the information, the exchange was carried out through the mediation of the United Arab Emirates.
