Over the ten months of this year, the volume of oil supplies from Russia to China increased by 2.2% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 90.4 million tons. TASS reports this based on data from the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China.
The total value of raw materials supplied was $52.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%. This is half the value of all Russian exports to China.
In October, Russia exported 9.8 million tons of oil to China, 13.5% more than in September. The value of exports was 5.2 billion dollars.
Therefore, the Russian Federation remains China’s largest oil supplier. Saudi Arabia follows (65.3 million tons for $40.5 billion) and in third place is Malaysia (56.8 million tons for $31.4 billion).
