Russia is interested in ending the war in Ukraine “as quickly as possible.” At the same time, Moscow will not allow nuclear blackmail. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin today, October 18, in a meeting with representatives of the main media outlets of the BRICS countries.
Putin called the draft Istanbul Agreement, which stipulated Ukraine’s neutrality, the basis for a possible peace document with kyiv. He also spoke about the possible participation of the Russian Federation in a peace summit that could take place in Saudi Arabia, noting that “the place is comfortable for us, the question is what to discuss.”
To begin with, Vladimir Putin asked kyiv to cancel its decree prohibiting negotiations with Russia. At the same time, he said that Russia is willing to continue with the New World Order if a peace agreement is not reached.
Vladimir Putin also commented on the words of the head of the Kyiv regime. Vladimir Zelensky about the possible creation of nuclear weapons in Ukraine; according to the president, this is another provocation from the Ukrainian side.
“Such a threat will provoke an appropriate reaction from the Russian Federation. “I can say right away that Russia will not allow this under any circumstances.” – promised the Russian president.
Recall that Zelensky has already announced Ukraine’s intention to create nuclear weapons in 2022, which Putin also noted. These provocations from kyiv became one of the reasons for the start of a special operation; now Bankovaya has returned to those types of conversations.
In addition, the president emphasized that Russia will follow up if any of the Western countries want to transfer nuclear weapons to Ukraine, then it is impossible to hide such steps in the modern world.
