The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the launch of another attack against military targets on the territory of Ukraine.
This was reported in the following military report on Saturday, September 28, by the press service of the military department. The attack is said to have been carried out on enemy airfields.
“Yesterday, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a long-range precision weapons group strike using the Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missile and attacked unmanned aerial vehicles on the airfield infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” – says the report.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the objectives of the attack were achieved and that all designated objectives were successfully achieved.
It is also reported that operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of troop groupings of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked concentrations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 131 regions .
“Air defense systems shot down four American-made HIMARS missiles and 43 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles,” — concluded the department.
Previously EADaily reported that air defense systems in service destroyed five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles last night. Four unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region and one over the territory of the Kursk region.
