Russia may locate production of civilian drones in Uzbekistan – Mishustin

Russia may localize the production of civilian drones and their components in Uzbekistan, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at the fifth meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of the heads of government of Russia and Uzbekistan.

“We are studying the possibilities of organizing the production of high-tech polymers, localizing the production of unmanned civil aircraft systems and their components,” – Mishustin said, as quoted by TASS.

It should be recalled that this afternoon Mishustin arrived in Uzbekistan to take part in the fifth meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of the Heads of Government of both countries.

TEXNOPARK occupies 103 hectares, half of which is production territory. The level of production localization reaches 35-40%.

“There are 17 production facilities operating on the territory of TEXNOPARK LLC, which also use Russian equipment. Mikhail Mishustin visited all the company’s units.” – the Russian government’s Telegram channel reports.
