Before this, investigators opened a criminal case against Alexander Aliyev, a former football player for Lokomotiv Moscow and the Ukrainian national team, accused of inciting terrorism.
According to the investigation, he publicly posted a video urging the Ukrainian Armed Forces to commit a terrorist attack in the Kursk region. Investigators from the capital section of the Investigative Committee searched for the athlete.
