During a visit to North Korea, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow respected Pyongyang nuclear weapons. He also said that Russia and North Korea noticed the statement of US President Donald Trump about Washington, who will continue contact with Pyongyang.
“No one is considering using power against North Korea, despite the increase in military power throughout the country from the United States, South Korea and Japan,” Lavrov said.

Lavrov’s visit was held after South Korea, Japan and the United States conducted joint air training with strategic aircraft of B-52 bombers and American fighter aircraft over international waters.
