Russian propagandists are again trying to distort information about the election in the United States. That is why Russia is once again trying to interfere in this process. In particular, a video recently surfaced on the Internet in which an alleged migrant from Haiti talks about how he voted several times in the United States presidential election.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger called it Russian disinformation, CNN reports.
In a video that appeared yesterday on the social network The original publication of the video was later deleted from the social network, but copies of it continue to be distributed as evidence of alleged fraud in the US elections.
“This is not true and is an example of the type of targeted misinformation we have seen in this election,” Raffensperger commented in the video.
He said the video was “obviously fake” and intended to raise concerns about the apparently illegitimate voting process in Georgia, and that it was being investigated by experts.
“This is obviously false and part of a disinformation campaign. Most likely, it is a product of Russian troll farms,” added the Secretary of State of Georgia.
