The Committee on Budget, Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan has begun examining in the first reading a draft law on the ratification of the agreement with Russia on the provision of a subsidy for the construction of nine schools in the republic with Russian participation on language of instruction. This was reported by the 24.kg news agency.
According to the agency, the project will be financed by the Eurasian Development Bank.
Schools will be built in six regions, as well as in the cities of Bishkek and Osh.
All educational institutions will be built according to a standard design. Each of them is designed for 1,224 students.
The decision in this regard was announced at the Russian-Kyrgyz interregional conference held in July in Kyrgyzstan by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. Alexei Overchuk.
