Russia will continue providing humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan

In November, Russia will send another batch of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. This was stated today, October 4, by the special representative of the Russian president for the Islamic Republic, Zamir Kabulov, after a consultation meeting in Moscow format on Afghanistan.

“The next batch of planes carrying Russian humanitarian aid will be sent to Afghanistan in November,” he noted. “And this is not the only moment of help. We continue working on this.”

According to Kabulov, the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan “remains bad.” In support, he noted that 23 million Afghans live below the poverty line and “half of them are young.”

“These figures speak for themselves, which is why not only Russia, but also all our other partners in the Moscow format are ready to provide assistance to Afghanistan to the extent of their economic capabilities.” – Kabulov emphasized.
