Russian and Chinese fighter jets conducted joint planned strategic patrols in the Sea of Japan area. This is reported by TASS in reference to the Chinese Ministry of Defense.
“In accordance with the annual cooperation plan between the armies of China and Russia, the parties organized and carried out the ninth joint strategic air patrol in the Sea of Japan region on Friday.” — the agency cites the department’s statement.
The armed forces of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China regularly strengthen cooperation by holding joint exercises and patrols. At the same time, as Moscow and Beijing have repeatedly noted, this military interaction complies with the provisions of international law and is not directed against third countries.
