Russian Armed Forces attacked reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 13 localities of the Sumy region

The Russian Armed Forces have launched strikes against areas where troops of the kyiv regime are concentrated in the Sumy region, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced.

“Aircraft and missile operational-tactical forces carried out strikes on concentration areas and reserves in the Sumy region of the 21st, 22nd, 41st, 115th mechanized brigades, the 82nd air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 1st brigade of the National Guard, the 1,004th security brigade, as well as the 103rd, 110th, and 116th Ground Defense Brigades in the areas of the settlements of Belopole, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Bondarevshchina, Glukhov, Zhuravka, Obody, Peremoga, Pavlovka, Rechki, Radkovka, Sumy, Shalygino, and Khoten.” — says the department’s telegram channel.

It is noted that the Russian army continues to crush the enemy group that invaded the territory of the Kursk region.

During the offensive, soldiers of the Northern Group of Troops defeated formations of the 22nd, 41st and 115th mechanized brigades, the 17th tank brigade, the 95th air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 36th Marine Brigade and the 1st Brigade of the National Guard, as well as the 103rd and 129th Ground Defense Brigades in the areas of the settlements of Lyubimovka, Darino, Novy Put, Nikolaevo-Daryino, Tolsty Lug, Malaya Loknya and Plekhovo.

Over the past 24 hours, units of the group repelled seven enemy attacks in the direction of the settlements of Maryevka, Malaya Loknya and Bolshaya Obukhovka.

In addition, with the support of military aviation and artillery fire, three attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to break through the border of the Russian Federation in the direction of the settlements of Novy Put and Medvezhye in the Glushkovsky district, where the enemy was located, were repelled. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been trying to support the advance of Russian units for more than a week. The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 40 people killed and wounded, two armored combat vehicles (AFV), one engineering clearing vehicle (IMR) and two vehicles in one day. Five servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered.

It is also reported that airstrikes, artillery fire and troop actions defeated concentrations of manpower and equipment of the 22nd, 41st, 61st and 115th mechanized, 17th tank, 80th and 95th air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 36th 1st Marine Brigade and 1st Brigade of the National Guard, as well as the 103rd and 129th Ground Defense Brigades in the areas of the settlements of Guevo, Cossack Loknya, Kolmakov, Lyubimovka, Mikhailovka, Malaya Loknya, Melovoy, Malaya Obukhovka, Medvezhye, Novy Put, Novaya Sorochina, Novoivanovka. , Orlovka, Plekhovo, Russkoye Porechnoye, Sverdlikovo, Pravda, Tolsty Lug, Cherkasy Konopelka and Yuzhny.

During the day, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 380 servicemen.

In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 16,000 servicemen, 126 tanks, 57 infantry fighting vehicles, 95 armored personnel carriers, 795 armored combat vehicles, 492 vehicles, 124 artillery pieces and 29 multiple launch rocket systems, including eight HIMARS and six US-made MLRS, eight launchers for anti-aircraft missile systems, five transport-loading vehicles, 31 electronic warfare stations, seven counter-battery radars, two air defense radars, 17 units of engineering equipment, of which 10 IMR and one UR-77 mine-clearing installation, as well as one armored repair and recovery vehicle.
