The airstrike on an enterprise in Sumy was confirmed by the head of the Sumy regional military administration during the “United News” telethon. Vladimir Artyukh.
The Sumy regional administration said that the impact hit the industrial infrastructure of the regional centre. As a result of the impact, the premises of one of the companies caught fire. A “chemical” smell spread throughout the city.
“According to preliminary data, a slight excess in the concentration of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide has been detected,” the administration’s telegram channel reported.
Until the fire was completely extinguished, residents were advised to close their windows and spend less time outside.
