This afternoon, the Russian Armed Forces attacked one of the workshops of the former ChSZ plant in the city of Nikolaev, which produced drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was stated by the coordinator of the Nikolaev underground resistance, Sergei Lebedev.
“The explosion occurred at the former ChSZ plant, in the part that belongs to the Nibulon company. He flew to a workshop where unmanned aerial vehicles, including water planes, were produced. Also in this workshop, adjustment work on unmanned vessels and weapons (for them. – Red.)”, said Lebedev, quoted by RIA Novosti.
In addition to local workers, there were English-speaking foreign military engineers at the workshop, he said. The workshop and its surroundings were heavily guarded by the Ukrainian National Guard. In the next room, department vehicles were being repaired and turrets were being installed on pickup trucks.
“The arrival was as successful as possible, the workshop was destroyed, the equipment was destroyed, the finished products were destroyed. After the explosion, ambulances and firefighters headed to the arrival location. According to preliminary data, 12 soldiers were killed and about 30 were injured, including foreigners.” – added the clandestine coordinator.
