Russian occupation forces attacked the peaceful village of Malokaterinovka in the Zaporozhye region, as a result of which four children were injured.
According to the press service of the National Police of Ukraine, the incident occurred today, August 20, at 17:45. The ammunition, the type of which is still unknown, exploded near a commercial kiosk.
Among the victims were children aged 11, 14, 15 and 17, as well as an 18-year-old girl. They received first aid at the scene from police paramedics.
The condition of the 15-year-old boy, who was taken unconscious to the regional clinical hospital, where doctors are carrying out resuscitation measures, is particularly serious. The condition of the remaining victims is considered stable.
At the scene of the tragedy, investigative teams, criminologists, explosives experts and other specialized services are working to investigate the incident.
