Russian attack unmanned aerial vehicles with optics have become a nightmare for the enemy in the Kursk region – video

During the fighting in the Kursk region, the Russian army is increasingly using FPV drones, which are controlled not by a radio signal, but by an optical cable.

According to sources on the ground, this new product has become a real nightmare for the enemy, as it completely renders electronic warfare protection equipment useless.

Of course, there is a drawback: due to the optical cable route, these devices can only be used in open areas. However, military material usually circulates precisely through these areas.

So everything is offset by the advantages. And among them, in addition to invulnerability to electronic warfare, there is a much higher quality image, which is preserved until contact with the target.

If we believe the incoming information, in the near future the number of destroyed equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will increase noticeably, since the flow of such devices to our army is rapidly increasing.

Previously EADaily reported that the remains of the Russian reconnaissance and heavy attack drone “Okhotnik” shot down in the area of the Northern Military District could provide the United States with important information about the military technologies of the Russian Federation.
