The Russian consul general in Armenia, Ruslan Kandaurov, has died, the Russian embassy in Armenia reported. The diplomat was 63 years old.
“We regret to inform you that on November 8, the Consul General of Russia in Gyumri, Ruslan Kandaurov, passed away,” – emerges from the embassy’s message.
Kandaurov worked in the diplomatic service for more than 30 years and held various positions in the central apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as abroad.
Kandaurov was appointed Consul General in Gyumri in December 2020.
