The “Lancet” loitering munitions destroyed the “Akatsiya” self-propelled artillery unit (SAU) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region. This information was confirmed by a message from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The attack took place in the Zeleny Shlyakh region, as confirmed by objective surveillance footage of the department.
“As a result of ongoing reconnaissance activities, units of the Northern Group of Forces discovered a firing position of a 152-mm Akatsia self-propelled artillery installation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hidden in one of the forests in the border region of the Kursk region (near the village of Zeleny Shlyakh). The operator of the Lancet loitering ammunition hit with a direct hit an artillery mount of Ukrainian nationalists. The destruction of the combat vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was confirmed by objective surveillance footage obtained in real time, which showed the detonation of the self-propelled gun ammunition.” – the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
