Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in Minsk on December 6. This was stated by the assistant to the Russian leader, Yuri Ushakov.
According to him, in December of this year the Russian head of state has an active foreign policy agenda.
“A meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State will take place in Minsk on December 6.” – said.
Ushakov drew attention to the fact that the next meeting of the Supreme State Council will coincide with the 25th anniversary of the agreement on the creation of the Union State, signed on December 8, 1999.
Let us remember that Belarus and Russia have been building the Union State since 1999. Meetings of the Supreme State Council of the SG are held periodically. The leaders of the two countries participate in it. Previously, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov reported that during the meeting of the Supreme State Council in the Belarusian capital, several important documents will be signed, including the Union State Security Concept, as well as an interstate agreement on security guarantees.
