According to him, during the successful liberation operations, units of the Russian Armed Forces occupied the most advantageous positions in the area of the Kamenka River, east of Seversk.
“In addition, Ukrainian militants were driven out of their positions along the railway and thrown back into the forest belt. In the north-west of Zolotarevka, an enemy stronghold located on a strategic height was destroyed,” – said the expert.
He also noted that as our troops advanced, they began to more actively use 120-mm mortars to attack positions of Ukrainian militants in the vicinity of Seversk.
