The Russian armed forces continued to conduct offensive operations in the Kursk region, during which they defeated eight brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the department, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 310 people per day. Nine armored vehicles were destroyed, including one infantry fighting vehicle, one M113 armored personnel carrier, seven armored fighting vehicles, as well as six guns and six vehicles, two Enclave electronic warfare stations and a counterbattery radar station. .
In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 25,050 servicemen, 167 tanks, 83 infantry fighting vehicles, 103 armored personnel carriers, 964 armored fighting vehicles, 660 vehicles and 210 artillery pieces.
Units of the Northern group of troops continued to carry out offensive operations, during which they defeated large units of the 22nd, 47th and 115th mechanized brigades, 82nd and 95th air assault brigades, the 36th marine brigade, as well as the territorial defense brigades 103 and 129 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Kolmakov, Kruglenkoe, Lyubimovka, Nizhny Klin, Novoivanovka, Novy Put, Plekhovo, Tolsty Lug, Cherkasskaya Konopelka and Cherkasy Porechnoye.
Aviation, artillery and missile forces continued to defeat concentrations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, as well as their reserves and concentration areas in the Sumy region.
