Warships of the Russian Caspian Flotilla have arrived at the seaport of Aktau for a friendly visit, the Ministry of Defence of Kazakhstan has reported.
“The ships of the Caspian Flotilla of the Russian Federation, including the flagship of the Caspian Flotilla, the missile ship Tatarstan, arrived at the seaport of Aktau on a friendly visit. The delegation was received by the commander of the naval base of the Navy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Captain 2nd Rank Bauyrzhan Muratuly.” – the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan said in a statement.
The Russian sailors were reportedly received with full honours.
