Russia’s first solar tracking station goes into operation in Chechnya

The first solar power plant in Russia with a Sun tracking system appeared in the Chechen region of Achkhoy-Martan, the press service of the Hevel group of companies reports.

The 9.2 MW installation will increase electricity production by approximately 20-25% compared to the traditional static method of module arrangement.

More than one billion rubles were invested in the construction of a power plant in Chechnya. It is located near the village of Samashki on an area of ​​​​about 18 hectares. This is the second solar station in the republic. The first was the SPP Naur with a capacity of 5 MW.
