Effects released the official trailer of American Sports Historythe fourth “American” franchise Ryan Murphy for the American channel after American Horror Story, American Crime Story And American Horror Stories.
As the name suggests, this anthology series will tell true stories from the world of sports that once had a great impact on American society. The first season will chronicle the rise and fall of Aaron Hernandezplayer of the New England Patriots NFL player who went from superstar to serving a life sentence for murder.
American Sports History: Aaron Hernandez In 10 episodes, it will tell the evolution and family history of the unfortunate player, as well as his acts of violence, his conviction and his suicide in prison in 2017. The series will premiere in the United States on September 17 and, being from FX, the normal thing is that in Spain it can be seen on Disney+, which already has in its catalog all of Murphy’s “America Story” series and other series from the channel such as The bearwhich has just returned for its third season.
Josh Andrés Rivera (The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) plays Hernández in the series developed by the screenwriter Stu Zicherman (The case And The Americans) from the podcast Gladiator: Aaron Hernandez and Football Inc. of the Boston Globe and Wondery. Ryan Murphy is, among other things, executive producer of Brad Falchukone of his regular collaborators.
