The public company Castellón Airport (Aerocas) has agreed to award three new connections with Budapest, Krakow and Palma de Mallorcawhich will enter service in 2025, as well as the extension of the Madrid line for the next three years.
The Minister of Environment, Infrastructure and Territory, Vicente Martínez Mus, expressed his satisfaction with the realization of new routes for Castellón, “since they meet the objectives of the Consell de improve air connectivity of the province, strengthen the commercial activity of the airport and encourage the opening of new source markets.
On the one hand, Aerocas awarded the airline Ryanair connections to Budapest and Krakow, which will operate from the next summer campaign with two weekly frequencies. The contract has a duration of four years and is structured through a consolidation campaign in European markets focused on Central European destinations.
On the other hand, the company Aerial Nostrum won the contract for the operation of the Madrid line for the next three years and the launch of a new summer line to Palma de Mallorca from 2025.
The route of Madrid It will be annual, will have four weekly frequencies and will guarantee more than 70 national and international connections, via Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. The Palma route will operate for seven weeks during the summer season with two weekly frequencies.
The new connections will strengthen the flight offer at Castellón airport, which in 2024 will provide regular connections to eleven destinations. In addition to the new routes for 2025, Aerocas has already closed connections with Paris and Stuttgart from 2026.
