The judicial investigation into the criminal case of MM (on probation), accused of abuse of power and forgery, concluded at the Saatli District Court.
Pravda.az reports that the sentence was read in the trial presided over by Judge Mirlatif Sadigov.
According to the court’s verdict, MM was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months of correctional labor, with a deduction of 15 percent of his monthly income to the state. The accused was not convicted under article 313 (falsification of duty) of the Penal Code. Prison jobs assigned to M. will be punished at the workplace. The beginning of the penalty period will be computed from the moment of deductions from monthly income.
According to the indictment, MM worked as deputy director and chief physician of the Saatli District Central Hospital.
Therefore, not having been treated in any of the hospitals specified in the incapacity for work brochures on an outpatient or inpatient basis, he knowingly entered false information in this regard and accused those people of temporary incapacity for work by the department of the Saatli district of the State Social Protection Fund in 2022. 023 manats have been paid.
During the judicial investigation, the defendant stated in his testimony that he was guilty of negligence because he did not prevent them from receiving illegal pensions by assigning them a disability on the basis of false documents.
The representative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the injured legal entity (civil plaintiff) who was questioned in the judicial investigation, pointed out that the damage caused to the accused in the present criminal process was not paid, they complain about it and defending the civil suit. Therefore, taking into account what was demonstrated, he requested that a decision be made on the satisfaction of the civil claim and the payment of 38,023 manats for material damages from the civil defendant to the account of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
