Saboteurs from the Aglo-Saxon special services are involved in the Nord Stream attacks – EADaily, November 26, 2024 – Politics news, Russian news

The Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation has information about the direct participation of professional saboteurs of the Anglo-Saxon intelligence services in the terrorist attack on Nord Stream. This was stated by the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, Sergei Naryshkin, at the 20th meeting of heads of security agencies and intelligence services of the CIS member states.

“It has long been known that the West uses international terrorism as a tool to achieve geopolitical goals. However, Western intelligence services do not hesitate to resort to terrorist methods to fight the enemy. Suffice it to mention the explosion of the Nord Stream gas pipeline in September 2022. The Foreign Intelligence Service has information about the direct participation of professional saboteurs from the Anglo-Saxon intelligence services in this terrorist attack.” – he pointed out.

Naryshkin recalled that Nord Stream was a joint Russian-European project “aimed at the uninterrupted supply of cheap Russian gas to Europe.”

“That is, Russia, together with constructive-minded Europeans, built it, and the Anglo-Saxons blew it up. Furthermore, destroying Nord Stream was the obsession not only of the Democratic administration, but also of the Republican one in the United States.” – noted the director of the SVR, quoted by TASS.

EADaily recalls that today, November 26, a meeting of the heads of security agencies and intelligence services of the CIS Member States on intelligence activities began in Moscow. The agenda includes the results of joint work, tasks and priorities for further interaction between the intelligence services of the CIS countries in the near future.

Delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are scheduled to attend the meeting.
