Civil Guard agents dismantled the so-called “Operation Key”, a criminal network that stole in different cities of Spain, be Salamanca one of the affected towns.
Her ‘modus operandi This involved stealing vehicles in coastal areas from vacationing owners, viewing the documents, then enter the first residences of the said owners.
As they point out in a press release, Officers arrested five people suspected of committing more than 40 vehicle thefts parked in different locations on the Costa de Huelva.
Among the affected towns are also other areas of the coast of Huelva, Seville, Jaén and Badajoz.
The operation was carried out by agents of the investigation zone of the Civil Guard station and the Ayamonte Judicial Police team. Likewise, they also benefited from the collaboration of the judicial police teams of La Palma del Condado (Huelva) and Bailen (Jaén).
