It looks like vampires are coming back to life
In 1975 the mystery and horror writer Stephen King surprised his then growing fans with a novel titled The Mystery of Salem’s Lotthat in Spain could be found in bookstores under the name of Vampire Hour. Its rapid fame led to a miniseries four years later, and now, nearly 50 years after the original publication, its story will be told, only in film form.
It will do so by taking the name of the work on which it is based, this time also within our borders, and several are in charge of carrying it out. masters of the paranormal which we find in the credits of films like Warren File either Articlethe latter also by Stephen King.
Among them is Gary Dauberman, writer of much of the Warrenverse (these are the scripts of Annabelle and its consequences, Article and its second part and The Nun), who co-wrote this new adaptation which he also produces and directs.
The Mystery of Salem’s Lotwhich includes among its actors Lewis Pullman, Alfre Woodard, Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Spencer Treat Clark, Pilou Asbæk and John Benjamin Hickey, will arrive exclusively to the video on demand platform Max in Octobera day yet to be determined.

Vampires of Salem
The story follows Ben Mears, a writer who returns to his hometownSalem’s Lot, Maine, with the intention of writing a book about an abandoned mansion known as the Marsten House. However, upon arriving, he discovers that a series of strange events are occurring in the town. Residents begin to disappear and go on a rampage rumors about the presence of vampires.
As Ben investigates, he discovers that Marsten House has been acquired by a mysterious man named Strakerwho uses him as a front for his sinister partner, vampire Kurt Barlow. Along with a small group of local residents, Ben faces the vampire threat and fights for save the city from evil who invaded it.
