The president of the Generalitat, Salvador Illaannounced that he would present on Tuesday at the meeting of the Consell Executiu a proposal to reconvene the technical commission between the Government and the central Government on the Barcelona Airport – El Prat expansion.
He said this on Monday evening in an interview with 3Cat collected by Europe Pressin which he explained that it is necessary to reactivate this table to see “how this infrastructure can be improved” with criteria of maximum environmental rigor.
Illa said that it will be the technicians who will have to present the best proposals so that this infrastructure can accommodate larger aircraft: “We cannot leave this issue pending or put aside.”
