Local police officers arrested a 30-year-old man in San Fernando (Cádiz) as the alleged perpetrator of the crime of attempted homicide after hitting his ex-partner on the head with a hammer in her home, as well as abuse and mental illness in the family. For his part, the victim was evacuated by the medical services of 061 to the Puerta del Mar hospital, where he had to undergo emergency surgery, given the seriousness of his injuries, and was admitted to the intensive care unit.
