Sanchez and his economic policy of envy and subsidy

Sanchez doesn’t have any economic policy useful, except to try to survive, not to do things, but to be on the blue bench. Last week, at the beginning of the political course, he used the headquarters of the Cervantes Institute to expose his lines of action, which oscillate between fantasy, resentment, personal attacks and envy.

The President of the Government claims that Spain is better than ever, that its economy is running like a rocket and that we are enjoying great prosperity. On the other hand, he attacks the Community of Madridhis particular obsession, and promises new taxes, always with the obsession against Madrid. He mocks the Spanish by affirming, like his ministers, that the Catalan quota will be good for all of Spain, and he tries to arouse the basest passions by affirming that we need more public transport and fewer Lamborghinis.

Sánchez no longer hesitates to appear as a social-democratic leader, capable of seeking redistribution and even believing that public intervention is positive. No, Sánchez has abandoned this moderate European social democracy to transform himself into a extreme socialistwith tics typical of other latitudes (“we will govern with or without the help of the legislator”) and with a discourse that incites subsidies and envy.

Speaking of that sports car – he probably meant to refer to another brand, but neither the speechwriter nor he were smart enough to be able, at least, not to confuse brands and models – he tries to garner the support of those who feel resentment, envy and class hatred among his only approaches. Sánchez knows that he cannot reason, because he has no arguments. He knows that he cannot exercise his principles because he has betrayed them all. He knows that he cannot fight for equality, because he blew it up with the Catalan quota. All that remains is want to vote with the basest instinctsand to do this, the only thing he can do is try to buy wills with subsidies, which impoverish a country, and with envy.

Envy of those who work hard, of those who get up early to prosper, of those who pay taxes, of those who love to work. Envy of the improvement as a people, of the economic growth that makes citizens free. Envy of those who risk and invest, the key to economic activity and employment. Envy, in short, of those who triumph, even if with their triumph they improve the whole of society. It reaffirms an outdated socialism as an envy carried to politics, while increasing spending, deficit and debt buy wills with different subsidies, which do not seek to help those who need it at a given time, which is what they should be there for, but rather seek to professionally cancel people to have captive votes, reinforced by envy.

It does not have a serious infrastructure plan and trains often stop and arrive late. It has no policy to attract investment, and it is decreasing. It has no policy of budgetary stability and relies entirely on tax increases and the goodwill of the EU. It does not know how to invest European funds, but only how to execute them in accounting terms. It has no strategy to improve the labour market, but is content to remove, through a regulatory artifice, the unemployed from the registers by transforming their type of contract. It does not care about budgets, but rather to continue even if it has to extend them again. It does not care about solidarity, but it breaks it to give the box to the Catalan independentists as long as they keep it. Moncloa.

It therefore has no economic policy, other than that of scorched earth, subsidies and envy, which structurally impoverished to the Spanish economy, which will have to be reversed as soon as Sánchez finishes his term.
