Pedro Sánchez announced for SMEs 4.5 billion euros in grants and nearly 50 billion euros in loans of the recovery plan. “I am announcing that we will allocate 4,500 million euros in subsidies and nearly 50,000 million in loans and financial instruments from the Recovery Plan to our SMEs,” declared the President of the Government.
Of the 42.612 million euros that were resolved by the Recovery Plan, by all public administrations, more than 16.8 billion euros (39.5%) have an SME as a direct beneficiary. Across the recovery plan, 528,800 SMEs have so far received some type of funding under one or more programs.
“We have allocated more than a third of the Recovery Plan to SMEs: two euros out of five of resolved appeals of the Plan come straight to them. One in five SMEs already benefits directly from the recovery plan: more than half a million businesses,” declared the socialist.
