The PSOE leader dominates the political scene as he has never done in his five years in office, while his PP counterpart is more vague than ever and is proving incapable of transmitting a message that gives meaning to his proposal. Given the importance of the images and sensations that the highest party leaders project to public opinion, we can conclude that the socialists have won the game against the PP. But there are still too many unknowns, and new ones could emerge, to draw hasty conclusions about the future electoral result.
What is clear is that the furious and constant attacks that the right has launched against Pedro Sánchez, his government and his party practically since they arrived in Moncloa have had no practical result. And the polls show that the voting prospects remain the same, up, down, as those that existed on the eve of the last two legislative elections.
