Sánchez will receive first, at 9:30 a.m., to the Canary Islands president. Sánchez will then receive the President of Aragon from 11:00 a.m. Jorge Azcón will be present with a document of 108 pages and 44 demands, previously sent to Moncloa and prepared with a broad consensus with Aragonese political groups, on regional financing and infrastructure awaiting highways, railways or tanks.
In the afternoon – as has happened so far with socialist presidents – Sánchez will meet the Navarrese president. Although the series of meetings was announced after agreement between the COPS and the CER on the financing of Catalonia and the opposite reaction of other autonomies, including some members of the PSOE like Castilla-La Mancha, the government explained that it intended that these meetings would not only talk about financing.
The objective, as indicated by the Executive, is strengthen and strengthen collaboration between the State and local authorities, strengthen dialogue and promote institutional understanding between different administrations.
