Pedro Sánchez will travel to China next September to meet with the president of the Asian country, Xi Jinping, in order to promote economic and commercial relations between the two countries.
The trip will take place between September 8 and 10, when the Spanish president will visit the cities of Beijing and Shanghai, diplomatic sources told Efe, pending official confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Pedro Sánchez returns to China a year and a half after his last official trip to the country. On that occasion, he met with Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People, in a meeting in which he discussed the situation of the war in Ukraine.
