Five months after first discussing the Action Plan for Democracy, then called “regeneration”, Pedro Sánchez will present it this Tuesday to the Council of Ministers. This was confirmed by the President of the Government at the socialist interparliamentary meeting, in which he laid the foundations of the political path and expressed his desire for the PP to support the initiative.
“I hope that he ends up getting the support of all the democrats in our country. It would be incomprehensible if in Strasbourg certain things were approved and here, in the Congress of Deputies, they voted on these same issues in another way,” Sánchez recalled.
The quote refers to the fact that the European PP voted in favor of several of the measures that Sánchez will take in the plan. The president considers that it would be inconsistent for Alberto Núñez Feijóo’s deputies to distance themselves from their political family in Strasbourg.
