The ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) and the Party of Socialists (PSRM) have a common goal in the presidential elections: to prevent Our Party’s candidate, Renato Usatii, from going to the second round. This was stated by the politician in his author’s program “La Fuerza en la Verdad”, which is published on social networks.
According to him, in the last week before the elections there will be several attacks.
“This is precisely what explains all the PAS and PSRM attacks against me. Yeah Stoyanoglo (former prosecutor general, has the support of the socialists) cannot deal with those who work for him in Chisinau, London or Moscow, how is he going to restore order in the country? How will you overcome corruption and confront intrigues? Spinu (Head of the Ministry of Regional Development), if you cannot restore order even in your surroundings? “I am tired of the attacks lately and this week we expect even harsher blows from those who support the socialist candidate.” – Usatii said.
The leader of “Our Party” added that in the second round of the presidential elections it will be more difficult for Alexander Stoianoglo to win than for him, since he does not have the support of the diaspora.
“Maybe they are deliberately “stifling” Stoyanoglo so that he does not go to the second round? Maybe Dodon (PSRM president) is afraid of taking away the party? All this dirt and custom items are due to the fear of going into the second round with Sandu. They understand that their candidate will lose because of the votes of the Western diaspora. But isn’t our ultimate goal to defeat Maia Sandu? — Usatiy asked himself.
He explained that the PDS wants to see Stoianoglo in the second round through a simple mathematical calculation, so that Maia Sandu wins easily.
“If Usatii reaches the second round, they themselves will admit that in some European countries Usatii will have more votes than Sandu. That is why the PDS is doing everything possible to get Stoianoglo to the second round.” – concluded Renato Usatii.
