The association Advanced Tertiary and Alicante Waters They will celebrate next Tuesday, October 1, the fifth of the days of the “An Hour of Change” project, which they jointly lead, whose objective is to promote sustainability in the province of Alicante.
Under the motto “At an hour of change“, sustainability challenges are addressed in the context of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Over the course of five programs in the Living Podcast format, the objective is to inspire and give visibility to social commitment in various areas of the province of Alicante. These programs serve as a meeting point between the mayors of the municipalities where Aguas de Alicante operates and specialized professionals from across the province in matters of social sustainability. Topics such as waste and water resources management, tourism sustainability or energy efficiency, among others, are covered in the scheduled sessions.
With the participation of the Town Halls of San Vicente del Raspeig, El Campello, Monforte del Cid, Petrer and Sant Joan d’Alacant, this initiative aims to raise awareness and promote real change towards more sustainable practices in the province, taking into account the Urgently, these problems must be addressed in a comprehensive manner.
This fifth meeting will take place next Tuesday, the day October 1at the Municipal Senior Center ‘Salvador Gosálbez Alberola’ in Sant Joan d’Alacant (C/ Dr. San Miguel de Tarazona 16), from 9:30 a.m. On this occasion, the speakers will be: Santiago Román, Mayor of Sant Joan, Sergio Sánchez, General Director of Aguas de Alicante and Emilio Trinidad, Commercial Director of Solar Cover, acting as moderator Anabel Rosas, Director of LÍDER, media partner of the project.
