The sixth President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono again showed his last work, a song called Save Oour World.
Sby said that this song was a reminder for anyone to love the environment that was a deposit for the next generation.
“The Earth is our only house, and we must unite to save it,” said SBI in his song when he listened tonight at the Jakarta Theater, on Tuesday (7/7/2025).
Sby said that the process of creating the song “Save our World” was special because she collaborated with a number of great musicians in the country. One of them, Tokhpati, who made a musical arrangement from the song.
In addition, the continuation of SBY, this song also felt special because there were 35 musicians from different generations. Starting from the late Titics of Pusp, Sandy Santor, Chakra -Khan, to the rap singer Saikoji.
“35 These musicians represented Indonesian artists. Indonesian musicians who care about changing the climate and voiced questions to the world who have a high commitment, ”said SBI.
Sby, with a song, the salvation of our world, the world will be moved and knows that our Earth is currently faced with a real threat, the influence is more stronger than the war.
“So this can be an expression of the heart, reason, as a world (maybe) a little better, and we can really save the Earth, the only place where we live. Yes(Song) really anxiety, an expression of feelings, and at the same time, in fact, a little anxiety. There is hope, if there is a will, there is a way. But I do, there is a strong hope. We can still save if we want, ”concluded SBI.
Inspired by personal experience
Initially, the Save our world was created by SBY in 2010, inspired by his personal experience when visiting an international conference on changing the climate and salvation of forest in Oslo, Norway.
There, Sby testified to how serious the threat of preserving the forests and the stability of our environment.
The song was first presented in the Indonesian version under the name “for China Earth” performed by Sandhi Sondor and arranged Erwin Gutawa.
Soon after, in 2013, this song was also released in the English version with the name “Save The World”, performed by American singer Jeffrey Pessetto, with musical arrangements from Jeff Lorber.
These two versions bring the same message: our land is faced with threats, and we are all responsible for its salvation.
