Western Pasaman – The united team SAR found parts of the body of a jun (55), the victims attacked a crocodile. Finding part of the body was the right foot of the victim, found 2.3 kilometers from the place where the victim was struck by the crocodile in the Batang Rosak Sikabau river, the district of which Balingka, Western Pasaman Regent, Western Sumatra.
Corpos Sar Pasaman, Novy Yurandi confirmed the detection of part of the victim’s body after yesterday on the fifth day of the search at about 16.00.
“We brought pieces of the body to Putskins for further inspection and came to the conclusion that it was so that it was the right foot of the victim, then we gave the body to the family to be buried in the funeral bureau,” he said on Friday (5/5/2025).
He added that after he was handed over to his family, the search was renewed, because today he entered the sixth day in search of the victims that were thrown into crocodiles.
“Then this morning the combined SAR team returned to the search using rubber boats, fishing and search on land on the banks of the river,” he said.
Uyun is a resident of the Lamba Melingang region, a crocodile attacked him in the Batang Rosak Sikabau River, the Koed Balingka region, Western Pasaman Regent, Western Sumatra. The unfortunate incident occurred on April 26, 2025, at about 21:30, while the victim, along with the eight colleagues, went to shoot at the fish on the river bank, but suddenly they threw it and dragged it with a crocodile.
