German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in an interview with ARD television that the “right time” will soon come for a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Previously, Scholz has repeatedly said that he does not rule out the possibility of having a telephone conversation with Putin when the “right time” arrives.
During the interview, Scholz was asked when that “right time” would come.
“Soon”, – Scholz responded.
The Chancellor stated that this should be preceded by numerous contacts that he has had for a long time.
