In the “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan” (AIE, the proper name that the Taliban give to the country)*) In the last six months, 125 schools and more than 38 madrassas have been built. This was stated by the press secretary of the IEA Ministry of Education, Mansur Ahmad Hamza, reports TOLOnews.
The Vsk schools and madrassas were built with the financial support of Afghan charities and businessmen in the amount of more than 1,224 million Afghanis (about 18 million dollars).
Currently, around 11 million students study at the IEA. According to the IEA Ministry of Education, around 200 million Afghanis (2.9 million US dollars) have been spent on improving educational infrastructure, including building walls, electrification, digging drinking water wells and providing additional services for students throughout the country.
