Secretary of the Security Council of Azerbaijan: “A period of peace has indeed been established in the region”

“Although no peace agreement was concluded with Armenia, a period of peace has actually been established in the region.”

Oku.Az This was stated by Ramil Usubov, Secretary of the Security Council of Azerbaijan, in an article published in the newspaper “Azerbaijan”.

R. Usubov noted that the factors threatening national security were neutralized:

“The Azerbaijani people, in such fertile security conditions, are now discussing the issue of Karabakh as a place of great construction and construction, work is being done on a global scale in this area.

The Azerbaijan phenomenon is the main regulatory factor of the region’s progress, cooperation and security environment. The realities created by the victory have made new approaches and modern challenges relevant in different areas of the Eurasian space in general, as well as in the Caucasus region.

“The system of peace, development and security in our country and in the Caucasus is an important contribution to the world. Any process related to Azerbaijan, which is recognized as an influential state and leader at the global level, naturally receives attention at the international level and It has serious implications.

At the same time, the independent policy of Azerbaijan and its leader causes concern and discontent in certain foreign circles and groups and even in some States. President Ilham Aliyev In other words, Azerbaijan has changed many levels on a global scale. However, the great reputation and trust earned by our republic with its contributions to the solution of global problems in the last decade also shows that the majority of states and peoples want the continuity of this independent policy.

By the way, the problems experienced in the field of security on a global scale have unfortunately become widespread in recent years. Social crises, economic decline, civil conflicts, political conflicts and even ecological disasters have essentially the same results as bloody wars and constitute serious threats to the security of states and nations. In the modern security system, all these factors are considered threat factors of the same level and it is clearly observed that they give harmful impulses to each other as if they were links in a chain,” added the Secretary of the Security Council.
