Thus, the actions carried out by the Basin Agency will focus on the work of removing trawls and repairing the Letur stream pipeline, the restitution of services and sections of the Letur stream, the removal of dredges And reconstruction of the wall of Rambla de la Dehesa of Letur, due to the damage caused by the DANA that occurred from October 28 to November 4, 2024, CHT reported in a press release.
After verification and evaluation of all the needs described, the actions required their declaration of emergency, because, in the event of a new episode of rain, the damage could be amplified, affecting both the safety of people and material goods.
For this reason, the CHS has declared an emergency for these actions. This cataloging will allow the Basin Agency to proceed with immediate repair of damage caused to property belonging to the General Administration of the State. Alongside these actions, the CHS is already working on technical analyzes which will enable an improvement project to be developed as quickly as possible to address the risk of flooding for the aforementioned population, with actions both upstream and downstream. of the urban section.
