“I think COP29 is one of the best organized COPs to date. One of the themes of this conference is that we need to find ways and means to finance the real problems of climate change, especially adaptation and mitigation.”
This Oku.AzZimbabwe Parliament Senator in a statement Michelle Ruben Nyambuya saying.
Expressing his expectations about the event, the senator said that this should not be a talk show, agreements must be followed:
“We must implement the agreements and all the resolutions that emerged from this special conference. We hope that those who damage the climate will at least compensate for the damage they have caused. Because the countries that pollute the atmosphere the least are the ones that suffer the most.”
He said that Azerbaijan is the leader in the fight against the current problem.
“For example, the environment in this country is very clean. There is very little pollution. This means that Azerbaijan is a leader in terms of environmental protection. We wish success to the people and government of Azerbaijan.”
